Scope: The award of honorary degrees

(a) Terms of reference

To make recommenations to Council and Senate on:

1 Criteria for the award of honorary degrees.

2 Specific individuals to be invited to receive honorary degrees.

3* Confirming the timing of the award of honorary degrees which have been agreed in principle by Senate and Council.

The Honorary Degrees Committee has delegated authority under item 3 (*starred).
