What if I require individual examination arrangements?

You should contact Disability Support to undertake an assessment of your needs. They will make recommendations to the Examinations Office in order to ensure that appropriate arrangements are made. The Examinations Office will then contact you individually, by e-mail, to explain the arrangements that have been put in place for you to sit your examinations.

If you have a temporary disability, you should inform the Examinations Office as soon as possible in order that it can be investigated whether any alternative facilities or support are necessary.

What am I allowed to bring into the exam room?

You should bring your own writing/drawing equipment but please note that you are NOT permitted to have a pencil case on your desk during an examination. You are advised not to bring personal items into the exam room, as you will not be permitted to keep these with you. Can I bring my mobile phone into the exam room?

You should avoid bringing your mobile phone into the exam room. If you do bring your mobile phone, it MUST be switched off and left in your bag or on the Invigilators desk. The phone will be confiscated if found on your person, or on or near your desk and its presence may be regarded as cheating.

Can I use additional paper to write rough notes during my exam?
