Committees

This page contains terms of reference, dates of meetings, and reports of meetings for the following university committees, all of which are serviced by the Quality Assurance Team:

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Learning and Teaching Committee

Scope: amendments to taught programmes and the support of Learning and Teaching, enhancement and promotion of programmes delivered from within the Faculty.

Faculty of Natural Sciences Learning and Teaching Committee

Scope: amendments to taught programmes and the support of Learning and Teaching, enhancement and promotion of programmes delivered from within the Faculty.

Faculty of Health Learning and Teaching Committee

Scope: amendments to taught programmes and the support of Learning and Teaching, enhancement and promotion of programmes delivered from within the Faculty.

Foundation Year and Electives Sub-Committee

Scope: All proposals for major changes to programmes and modules delivered on the Foundation Year programmes and free-standing electives modules.

Quality Assurance Committee

Scope: The Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for ensuring that the University has a rigorous and responsive quality assurance framework in place which is fully informed by external expectations. The Sub-Committee will ensure that all quality management processes operating at university-, faculty-, or school level maximise their potential of further enhancing academic programmes and the student experience.
