I was appointed as a part-time Teaching Fellow in Sept 04 and began teaching on a variety of counselling courses.  My current role is teaching on the  MSc in Counselling Psychology and the PG Cert in Counselling Supervision ; I teach act as a skills tutor and a personal development leader.  In addition I have a private psychotherapy and supervision practice and counsel and supervise for an agency working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

I am an integrative practitioner drawing on psychodynamic, gestalt, transactional analysis, CBT, and EMDR,  however my core models are person-centred and transpersonal.  My PG Dip in Integrative Counselling was from Keele; my PG Dip and MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy through the Northern Guild for Psychotherapists and the University of Wales.

My particular areas of interest are; the therapeutic relationship and working at relational depth in psychotherapy together with the therapeutic use of self and vicarious traumatisation.
