Many students are not always able to make an open day in person, so this hopefully allows them to research their choices...

Keele University is launching its next Virtual Open Day for prospective postgraduate students on Wednesday 3 February, 2pm - 7pm.

Students who attend the online event at www.keele.ac.uk/pgvirtualopenday will have the opportunity to ask course specific questions, as well as access a range of live and pre-posted content to help inform them in their decision to study at Keele.

“We are really looking forward to holding our Virtual Open Day for prospective postgraduate students who are looking to find out more about what Keele could offer them,” said Keele Vice-Chancellor, Professor Trevor McMillan.

“We pride ourselves on our outstanding student community, very supportive staff and high quality teaching, and being able to offer students the chance to ask questions about courses, accommodation and student experience in an essential part of the event.”

The event will have three live talks and over 40 live chats with academic and professional staff and is set to provide lots of information and support.

Applicants could also be eligible for a range of bursaries and scholarships making postgraduate study more affordable, with discounts of £500 - £1,000 available for eligible students on some postgraduate courses. Find out more at www.keele.ac.uk/kgb.

“Our beautiful campus is really worth a visit,” explains Professor McMillan, “but we know that for many students they won’t always be able to make an open day in person, so this hopefully allows them to research their choices and gives them the information they need to make an informed decision.”
