Current and future students studying the MSc Accounting and Financial Management with Keele Management School are set to benefit from CIMA accreditation. On successful completion of the MSc students can either present their certificate to CIMA in order to obtain five examination exemptions, CO1 – CO5, or they can choose to pay a fee (currently £410) and complete a computer based case study to obtain exemption from all twelve certificate, operational and managerial CIMA examinations.

CIMA’s website explains that “Our qualifications are recognised by employers worldwide. Chartered Global Management Accountants work in 99 out of 100 of the world’s top brands and are at the heart of thousands of small and medium sized businesses across the world, helping drive sustainable business success.”

Programme Director for the MSc Accounting and Financial Management, Dr Akrum Helfaya is delighted for this boost to KMS students’ career prospects “ As the CIMA qualification is an internationally recognised professional accreditation it will be an invaluable asset to our students wherever in the world they pursue their career. “
