Keele University students are the most satisfied with their course, according to the Guardian 2017 league tables, out today, 23rd May 2016.

Overall, Keele has moved up 8 places from last year, seeing it placed at 34th overall, and is placed in the Top 10 nationally for 7 subjects, including 4th for Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy, (6th), Pharmacy (6th), Geography and Environmental Studies (8th).

Following the University’s success in student satisfaction tables in recent years, sitting first in the National Student Survey for two consecutive years, the further recognition of satisfaction focused on academic experience is welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Trevor McMillan;

We are delighted that our sector-leading student experience is also reflected in students’ satisfaction with their courses, as Keele continues to strive for excellent academic and experiential quality for its students

Professor McMillan said.

It is very good to see this reflected in Keele’s continued progression up the league tables, with a significant 8 place leap to 34th and 7 of our disciplines placed in the top 10 nationally, including being ranked 4th nationally for Medicine.

Our focus is on providing a sector-leading research-led education and student experience and developing our campus, producing high quality, highly employable graduates, and league table positions are just one indicator that we’re doing some of these things extremely well.”
