Postgraduate Virtual Open Day

Posted on 01 July 2015

Keele's Postgraduate Virtual Event on July 10th, was a great success. During the event attendees were able to learn more about postgraduate study at Keele, about how to apply, funding and discover why Keele offers such a special postgraduate student experience.

The University has announced that 70 new Postgraduate Support Schemes (PSS) of £10,000 each have been made available for postgraduate students - the offer closes on July 31st.

The scholarships have been made available to encourage progression by under-represented students into taught postgraduate education. The scholarships, supported jointly by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the University, will be made available to UK and EU students who meet certain eligibility criteria and are due to start their postgraduate studies in autumn 2015.

Digital Communications Manager, Paul Newton, said: "It's fantastic that we are bolstering our Postgraduate offer by supporting the PSS to help reduce barriers of entry to any student from an under-represented background wanting to further their studies at Keele. The virtual event is also an exciting opportunity to bring academic and support staff together for students to help provide them with support in making the decision to further their studies."
