Higher Horizons website launch

Higher Horizons, a Collaborative Outreach Network led by Keele University, has launched its website this week.

The HEFCE funded project, that saw Keele granted £316,000 as Network Lead, aims to work with eleven other HE providers to deliver Outreach activity for 11 – 18 year olds.

The Higher Horizons Network is offering over 40 workshops, both subject specific and general Information, advice and guidance sessions to 171 schools in the region. Sessions can be delivered in the University setting, or in school or college. Teaching staff can provisionally book sessions now at www.higherhorizons.co.uk

Higher Horizons Network Manager, Ant Sutcliffe said: “We are thrilled with the functionality of the website, and I am pleased to have brokered a number of requests for activity already. Our aim is clear: To raise the aspirations & attainment of our young people, whilst creating a platform for informed decision making.”

The partner institutions currently delivering activity through the Higher Horizons project are Keele University, Staffordshire University, The University of Derby, Oxford University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Chester and Harper Adams University.
