All the Days She Can Spare

Posted on 23 September 2014

All the Days She Can Spare - an exhibition of prints, drawings and words by Staffordshire-based artist Russell Morris made in response to Alzheimer’s - opens at Keele University Art Gallery next month.

Throughout the four years that his mother was hospitalised, Russell kept a visual diary, making one or two drawings per visit. This became a way for him to remain engaged and attentive once his own conversation was exhausted.

The exhibition will be opened by Mo Ray, Professor of Gerontological Social Work at Keele University, and Professor David Amigoni, Head of School of Humanities at Keele University.

The preview evening (7th October, 6pm) is FREE to attend and open to the public. The exhibition will then run from 8 - 29 October 2014. http://www.keele.ac.uk/artskeele/whatson/visualart
