Exhibition to celebrate 200th Anniversary of Mason’s Ironstone patent
The new exhibition contains well over 200 pieces which display the wide variety of designs that the internationally renowned factory made famous.
Ironstone collectors throughout the country have given up their prize possessions to help curator Harry Frost create a memorable exhibition to celebrate the Patent granted to Charles James Mason in 1813 to produce his famous Ironstone China.
This stunning exhibition focuses on the very first Ironstone china made by the factory from 1813 to 1830.
Following the success of last year’s exhibition, the new exhibition contains well over 200 pieces which display the wide variety of designs that the internationally renowned factory made famous. The exhibition may be viewed free of charge at The Raven Mason Suite, Keele Hall, Keele University, ST5 5BG, between 10am – 4pm, on the following days:
Monday 27th May Spring Bank Holiday
Sunday 2nd June Community Open Day
July 8th, 9th, 10th & 11th - Graduation Open Days
