Social Activities
The Keele Pre-sessional is not all work. To make the most of your time here we have planned a variety of interesting and exciting events for you, including excursions, sports activities and social get-togethers. For some weekends, we have organised trips to major UK attractions.
Weekly activities will include sports and visits to nearby attractions such as museums, local art centres and historic homes, as well as additional events such as film nights, quiz nights, picnics, musical evenings and visits to the theatre. The excursions are all included in your fees, and most of the additional activities are free. If you enjoy sport or perhaps want to learn a new sport, Keele’s PLAY SPORT programme offers a variety of activities such as badminton, indoor football, table tennis and basketball.
We have engaged current Keele students to act as ‘ambassadors’ to join in your social activities. They will be here to support you and answer any questions you might have about life as a student at Keele.
All of our Keele Pre-sessional excursions and social activities offer you fantastic opportunities to practise your conversational English, learn about British culture and make friends.
