Insurance
Basic insurance cover is provided for your University accommodation. You are strongly advised to take out some form of insurance policy before you leave your home country to cover your luggage, personal possessions and money against theft, loss or damage whilst you are travelling to Keele and during the time you will stay at the University. Although medical insurance is not a compulsory requirement in the UK and most students will be eligible for treatment under the National Health Service, it is recommended that you take out health insurance as the NHS may not cover everything in the event of a serious illness. You should check about the level of cover you require with your local British Council Office.
