I joined the school in January 2010 from the University of Sheffield where I was a lecturer in public health in the School of Health & Related Research. I have a professional background principally in clinical pharmacy and completed my PhD at the University of Nottingham on cardiac rehabilitation patients’ perspectives on medicines and lifestyle modification. My research interests mainly lie in the fields of medicines usage and pharmacy practice, although I also have interests in a diverse variety of related fields, including public health, health psychology and the sociology of health and illness. I currently teach public health, qualitative research methods and clinical pharmacy and therapeutics topics such as mental health, amongst a variety of other topics in pharmacy practice. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health.
