I am a Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have previously worked in both hospital and community pharmacy. Since leaving pharmacy practice, I have graduated as a teacher of Business and ICT.
My role within the School of Pharmacy includes supporting the practical pharmacy skills classes, acting as a Professional Mentor, Personal Tutor and Module Lead for the Health Foundation Year, Information Technology for Healthcare module.
Since working at Keele University, I have gained a Post-Graduate certificate for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, gained Fellow membership of the Higher Education Academy and I have completed a Masters in Professional Studies in Education. My dissertation focused upon research into the use of learning styles theories and the transition to Higher Education.
