School of Pharmacy

I joined the School of Pharmacy’s Dept. of Medicines Management in 2002 after completing a PhD in chemistry.  As a member of the Department's Medicines Evaluation Unit, I write evidence reviews and guidance sheets for the Midlands Therapeutics Review and Advisory Committee (MTRAC).  I also perform literature searches to support the Department’s other service activities, and collaborative work with the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence. I also teach face to face and distance-learning workshops related to critical appraisal and evidence-based medicine, contributing to the School of Pharmacy’s undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes.
