Following my pre-registration year with Boots the Chemist, I returned to academia to complete my PhD in Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmacy, UCL. My research looked into the use of Supercritical Fluid Technology to develop micro-particles containing tetanus toxoid. During the my PhD, and indeed after I pursued a career in Community Pharmacy, in particular with Lloyds Pharmacy where I specialised in the care home domain of the business. I began work with Keele as a sessional member of staff in the dispensing classes, and this year, June 2013, have come on board as a Lecturer in the Pharmacy Practice team.
Completed a PhD in Pharmaceutics- Funded by the BBSRC & GSK
