I joined the School of Pharmacy in 2005 from a background in primary care and academic pharmacy practice. I am responsible for the development and delivery of the MPharm degree programme. My teaching specialities are in healthcare law and ethics, and pharmacy practice. In 2006 I completed a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) in the Legal Aspects of Medical Practice. Research interests are centred on the education of pharmacists prior to registration. In 2009 I was appointed as the Director of Learning and Teaching for the Faculty of Health, as such I chair the Faculty of Health Learning and Teaching Committee. I am a co-opted member of the University's Senate and also serve on the University Learning and Teaching Committee. I am a visitor for the General Pharmaceutical Council and serve as a member of the MPharm Accreditation Panel. Formerly, with the RPSGB, I served as a member of the Pre-registration Liaison Group and the Board of Examiners for the Registration Examination; I have also served on a number of national working parties on pharmacy education and practice.
