School of Pharmacy

I joined the School of Pharmacy (then the Department of Medicines Management) in 2003. I am a pharmacist with a background in Medicines Information, education and research, and previously worked for the Welsh Medicines Resource Centre (WeMeReC) and the University of Wales College of Medicine. I lead the School’s Medicines Evaluation Unit, which supports the Midlands Therapeutics Review and Advisory Committee (MTRAC), the West Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, the Department’s other service activities, and participates in collaborative work with the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). I also contribute as a tutor to the post-graduate education programmes.
