Having a background in both hospital and community pharmacy I joined the school in 2008. I am responsible for facilitating hospital placements at Leighton Hospital, Crewe and teach therapeutics to students in stages 3 and 4 of the MPharm. In July 2012 I was appointed as the lead for Interprofessional Education at stage 2 across the faculty of health.
My research interests include mobile learning, the use of simulation to teach pharmacy, interprofessional education, musculoskeletal and sports medicine and infection management and control.
After completing my certificate in Teaching and Learning in higher education, I am now studying for a PhD focusing on the applications of mobile learning for undergraduate education.
