I joined the postgraduate team in July 2007. I am currently responsible for the Professional MSc course and the Advanced Professional Practice Programme. I am joint course manager for the Community Pharmacy programme. I am also involved in providing a staff development programme for external staff who support the School's Postgraduate Programmes and Pre-registration Tutors. I am a committee member of the UKCPA Education and Training Committee. I was awarded a Keele University Learning and Teaching award in 2010.

I have an interest in research into pharmacy education. My PhD studies involved the testing of the General Level Competency Framework (GLF) with community pharmacists. More recently I have conducted research into quality management of pharmacy pre-registration training. This research has helped to inform the debate around the restructuring of pharmacy pre-registration training.

I have an interest in research into pharmacy education.

My PhD studies involved the testing of the General Level Competency Framework (GLF) with community pharmacists.

More recently I have conducted research into the quality management of pharmacy pre-registration training including the use of a survey as a quality management tool and the use of workplace based assessments.

This research has helped inform the debate around the restructuring of pharmacy pre-registration training.
