Therapeutics Plus

Therapeutics PLUS^TM, a free online medical education resource for healthcare professionals, has now been launched.

Therapeutics PLUS^TM has been developed through joint working between Prescriber and NPC Plus at Keele University, and in association with Pfizer. The programme is endorsed by the Association for Nurse Prescribing.

Aimed primarily at non-medical prescribers (NMPs), this resource is also relevant and of value to other healthcare professionals. Following successful completion of a Therapeutics PLUS^TM module, there is the opportunity to complete a Keele University assessment and gain Master’s level credits towards an award in Prescribing Studies.

This easy to use online learning resource will cover a broad range of subject areas and new modules will be rolled out over time. Modules currently available for study or in development include:

• Asthma
• Neuropathic Pain
• Smoking Cessation
• COPD
• Venous thromboembolism
• Female urinary incontinence
