Call for Abstracts

 

PRESCRIBING AND RESEARCH IN MEDICINES MANAGEMENT

A forum on medicines usaage

Submissions are invited for ORAL and/or POSTER PRESENTATIONS for PRIMM (UK & Ireland) 23rd Annual Scientific Meeting.  The theme of the morning session is

“Seamless Care……or Careless Seams – reducing medication errors at interfaces”

 

However, abstracts can be submitted on any aspects of prescribing and research in medicines management.  Abstracts should be self-contained on a single side of A4 – further information about abstract submission is available on the website.  Notification will be sent out before Christmas as to whether abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentation.  People giving oral &/or poster presentations must pay and register to attend the conference.   For oral presentations, each speaker will be given 10 minutes speaking time and 5 minutes for discussion.   Abstracts will be published in the Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety.

 

A bursary of £300 will be awarded at the conference for the best abstract received.  There will also be £50 worth of book tokens awarded for the best poster.

 

Please state whether abstracts should be considered for oral and/or poster presentation. They should be returned, by Monday, 28th November 2011, electronically to: PRIMM@mema.keele.ac.uk
