Frequently Asked Questions
I can't install or run the tool / errors are appearing on the screen
Our decision support tools depend on the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 and Windows Installer 3.1 to work correctly. Chances are you've probably got both of these installed on your PC already. If however you get an error when trying to install any of the tools, for convenience we've supplied links to both below:-
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (x86) 32 Bit
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (x64) 64 Bit
How do I access the user guide?
Each of our decision support tools include a user guide. To access it, first load the tool, then click on the circular 'i' symbol in the top right of the tool's window, then click 'User Guide' The user guide is a PDF file, therefore you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer before you can view it. Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge here
When I run the tool it is asking me for a username and password
Before you can use the tool you need to create a data store which will hold the user and patient data. On the same screen that is asking you for a username and password, click the 'Create New' link and follow the wizard to create a data store. Once you've created a data store you can then log in using the username and password you've just entered.
If your question is not already answered above please send a support request to support@pds-keele.co.uk and we'll do our best to help. Please ensure you give as much detail as possible about the problem to aid a speedy response.
