Timescale
The following is a general guide about the time that students are permitted to complete Medicines Management/School of Pharmacy postgraduate courses and awards from the date of initial registration.
Overall, a student is allowed up to 5 years to achieve a Masters award.
If this is your goal then we recommend that you should aim to complete the work necessary for the pre-requisite Certificate award in 1-2 years and the pre-requisite Diploma award in up to 3 years.
The timescales below show the permitted time, or minimum time that a student would normally need, for each stage:
Individual modules/short courses – up to 6 months permitted
Certificate courses and awards – 9 months minimum
Diploma courses and awards – 18 months minimum
MSc courses and awards – 21 months minimum
To complete within these minimum timescales would require
you to commit 10-15 hours each week to the course.
