Therapeutics Plus and Prescribing Studies with NPC Plus and the School of Pharmacy Keele University
The Postgraduate Course Team in the School of Pharmacy at Keele University are working in collaboration with Therapeutics Plus so that non-medical prescribers who have completed a Therapeutics Plus module online can go on to register with Keele to complete the formal assessment for the relevant Keele CPD Plus+ course.
Completing the assessment for the CPD Plus+ course will allow you to gain Masters (M) level credits that can be used towards gaining a postgraduate academic qualification in Prescribing Studies with Keele using our Open Learn route.

What is the Keele University Assessment for a CPD Plus+ course?
To gain 5 academic credits with Keele you will complete assessment that comprises the following:
- Problem solving case – written assignment of 1000 words
- Reflective Portfolio

How do I Register for Assessment with Keele University?
You should complete the registration form that can be accessed from the following link:

The assessment will be sent to you on receipt of the completed registration form, the fee of £99 and a copy of the certificate that you will have downloaded from the Therapeutics Plus site as evidence of your completion of the multiple choice assessment questions.
You will also be sent the Course Handbook for CPD Plus+ courses and will be supported in your studies by the Prescribing Studies programme manager, Jacqui Kinsey. In addition, you will have access to student support materials within Keele’s virtual learning environment (KLE).
How long do I have to complete the Assessment?
You will have up to six months from the date of registration to complete the Assessment and submit it to Keele for marking.
