Studying the Community Pharmacy diploma has helped me become a more confident and competent pharmacist. My improved clinical and professional knowledge and communication and consultation skills has improved the quality of services I provide such as MURs, EHC and will hopefully help with a new minor ailments service I am starting in April. It has also improved my general advice to patients and improved my communication with my staff, colleagues and other health professionals this combined with a better understanding of clinical governance and risk management has helped me improve patient safety and the quality of services offered to patients by my branch”.
