2 week & 4 week Subject Knowledge Enhancement (Booster) Courses
The University has been funded by the TDA to run two-week (10-day) Subject Knowledge Enhancement (Booster) Courses in:
Mathematics: 8th - 19th July 2013 - flyer available to download here
Science:
- Chemistry: 22nd July - 2nd August 2013
- Physics: 22nd July - 2nd August 2013
Computer Science (with ICT)
- Computer Science: 29th July - 9th August 2013
- ICT for Computer Scientists - 12th August - 23rd August 2013
MFL:

French: 22nd July - 2nd August 2013
Spanish: 5th - 16th August 2013
In addition TDA funding has supported 4 week (20 day) Subject Knowledge Enhancement (Booster) Courses in:

For some applicants, acceptance on to an Initial Teacher Education programme (PGCE,SCITT, GTP), may be conditional upon satisfactory completion of the SKE (Booster) course, at Keele or at another Provider.
If you are interested about the possibility of following one of these SKE (Booster) courses, you should contact the PGCE Office for an update and for further information/application form. Each Subject Knowledge Enhancement (Booster) Course is either two weeks full-time or four weeks full time and provides between 25 and 30 hours of teaching and directed study and learning per week.
