Online Handbook for Personal Tutors
These webpages are designed to provide personal tutors with advice and information on some of the most important aspects of your role.
Whilst much of the general advice on these webpages will benefit personal tutors regardless of whether you support undergraduate or postgraduate students, support for students on taught postgraduate courses will vary from programme to programme, so staff should consult their programme teams regarding arrangements. The 2013-14 Code of Practice for Postgraduate Taught Personal Tutoring is available in Keele's policy zone.
Please note that these webpages are for advice and information: they are not meant to be prescriptive and do not supersede the requirements of the Academic Regulations, the Code of Practice for Undergraduate Personal Tutoring or Keele’s quality assurance framework.
