I joined the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre in August 2011 as a study coordinator for the BEEP (Benefits of Effective Exercise for knee Pain) study, having previously held research positions within the NHS, Local Authority and University settings. During my career I have been involved in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative health research, including a national cancer screening study, studies of clinical education for health care professionals and a diverse range of Primary care and physical activity studies.
My qualifications are as diverse as my research experience having qualified as a state registered Medical Laboratory Scientist (Microbiology) in early 1980s I have a BSc (Hons) in Combined Science, a MSc in Computer Science and PGCE with Post Grad Certificate in Mathematics and Statistics.
