I joined Keele in 2009 as a Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Specialist Registrar in Rheumatology. Prior to this, I was undertaking full time clinical training in rheumatology in the West Midlands. Currently, I work clinically 2 days a week at the Haywood Hospital, Burslem. Following my medical degree (MBChB, University of Leicester) I have completed a Masters in Medical Education (University of Warwick) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London).
I am currently undertaking a PhD. This project is using a mix of qualitative, quantitative and observational methodology to explore the consultation in primary care of adults presenting with musculoskeletal problems.
