I joined the department in 2005 after previously working for the Medical Research Council as a biostatistician. I have previously completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics at Leeds University, and a Masters degree in Biometry at Reading University. I am currently a member of the Royal Statistical Society.
My role as a biostatistician within the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre involves providing advice on study design and statistical methods for use in Centre studies e.g. for studies on adherence to exercise for knee pain or treatments for hand osteoarthritis. I have a particular research interest in statistical methods for longitudinal data analysis.
