I graduated as a Physiotherapist from Keele University in 2001. Since 2003, I have worked in the Staffordshire area in the field of musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in the primary care setting.
I currently work in a split post as a Spinal Extended Scope Physiotherapist at the Haywood Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and as a Research Physiotherapist at Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Sciences, Keele University.
I am a Research Physiotherapy facilitator for the West Midlands Primary Care Research Network (PCRN) team. My role within the research team at Keele involves participating in Keele and PCRN research trials / studies and providing a link between Keele and the community NHS trusts in helping with the operational issues of the studies in the primary care setting.
I am also involved in the Musculoskeletal Research facilitation group at Keele to help to facilitate best evidence research into clinical practice.
