Feedback from 2006 - 2010
Comments from the 2010 course:
| The course was well structured and taught well and I have learned an enormous amount. It has been the most enjoyable course I've been on yet! The content, planning, and pace were just at the right level (for me!) The groupwork sessions were particularly enlightening. |
Comments from the 2009 course:
| Well structured course, care was evident. Good balance lecture and workshops. Team very nice, well balanced. Presentations by tutors, good, clear and detailed. |

I wouldn't change the core elements of the course - it was really interesting and gave the accurate information needed to take back to the job and help others. The course is spot on as it is! The qualitative elements were much appreciated. The course was very comprehensive and useful.

I thought the whole course was excellent - very well run, good presenters, helpful staff, friendly and unintimidating atmosphere, learnt lots & came away feeling enthusiastic. Thank you! I wouldn't change anything - it's excellent thanks very much. The only way to describe this course is excellent, 5 stars. I thought this course was organised extremely well and all the speakers were well prepared, friendly and very helpful. Very The supplementary material was very helpful (eg DMEC report). This was an excellent, practical course. Time very well spent! An excellent course. The most valuable aspect of the course is the attention given to practical aspects of running RCT's beyond the essential theory covered on day one. Very good! Thank you very much - I've learned so much! |

I was sceptical before I came as I am more comfortable with qualitative analysis but I learned a lot and feel much more confident (and willing) to tackle a RCT. Thank you all very much for all your hard work and sharing all your knowledge and skills with us. I liked the balance between lectures, discussion time and group interactive work. The ‘Research Team’ ethos really came across. It is a very useful course for people who are conducting or about to start their own trial. Materials are very organised and pre-course details are excellent. The integration of group work and theory worked very well. Friendliness of all staff……….you have done a great job. |
