Recent Grant Awards

Victoria Welsh and Toby Helliwell have both been awarded prestigious NIHR Fellowships. Victoria has been awarded an NIHR Doctoral Training Fellowship and will investigate the association between falls and widespread pain in older people. Toby has been awarded an NIHR In-Practice Fellowship to study the management of Polymyalgia Rheumatica in primary care.

Sara Muller has been awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship from The National School for Primary Care Research Fellowship scheme to investigate the diagnosis and prognosis of PMR and Priyanka Chandratre being awarded a PhD Fellowship to study quality of life in patients with gout.

Recent Prizes

Rebecca Daniel (NIHR GP ACF) and Lorna Clarson (GP Research Fellow) have both been awarded Arthritis Research UK Registrar Prizes for their Masters research projects.
