A5. ACADEMIC AUDIT COMMITTEE 

To receive the attached minutes of the meeting of the Academic Audit Committee held on 5 November 2010.

A6. STRATEGIC PLAN 2010-2015 

To receive the attached paper, which sets out the timetable and approach to the review of the University’s Strategic Plan along with an early evaluation of the Plan and its delivery to date.

A7. GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS 

Senate is asked to approve the proposal to reintroduce Graduate Teaching Assistantships on the terms set out in the attached paper, subject to further amendment in the light of discussion at University Executive Committee on 16 November 2010 and of ongoing consultation with UCU.  Senate is asked to delegate authority to the Vice-Chancellor under Chair’s action to approve any amendments proposed following the meeting of Senate.

A8. SENIOR ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP ROLES AT KEELE 

To receive the attached paper from the Vice-Chancellor, which proposes a number of amendments to the senior academic leadership roles at Keele and to recommend approval to Council of the necessary amendments to the Charter, Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations (please refer to item C1).

A9. NATIONAL STUDENT SURVEY 

To receive the attached paper, which provides Senate with the headline figures from the 2010 National Student Survey, as requested at the previous meeting.

A10. KEELE'S INVOLVEMENT WITH ACADEMIES AND TRUST SCHOOLS 

To receive, for information, the attached paper, which summarises Keele’s involvement in the development of Academies and Trust Schools.
