UniSkills 2014 - Residential

New for 2014, the UniSkills residential will help Year 12 learners develop realistic expectations of what it is like to study at university and help them to develop skills they will need to successfully make the transition to university.

Taking the very best elements of the former A2K project, this residential will provide learners with invaluable learning and study skills that will benefit them, not only on their UCAS personal statement but into university and beyond.

As part of the UniSkills residential learners will be given the opportunity to:

  • experience life as a student for 3 days and 2 nights.
  • experience what it is like to live in student accommodation.
  • attend academic sessions to help them develop skills relevant to Higher Education.
  • meet a team of current Keele students who will support them throughout their time at Keele.

All food, travel, activities and accommodation are funded by Keele University with no charge to the school or the learner.
