Higher Education conventions

UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) co-ordinate the delivery of around 50 higher education conventions. The events provide learners with the opportunity to explore their future choices, and talk to representatives from higher and further education institutions, charities, graduate recruiters, gap year companies and commercial organisations. Many of the conventions also have seminars to help the learners with making an application, finances or course choices.

Locally Keele and Staffordshire Universities work collaboratively to host one of the conventions at the Leek Road site of Staffordshire University. All schools and colleges within Stoke and Staffordshire are invited to bring Year 12 students to the one day event,  which includes an extensive seminar programme. The date for 2014 is Friday 13 June.
