eMentoring (KS5)
Our highly successful eMentoring project pairs learners in Years 12 and 13 with current Keele undergraduates. The pair communicate regularly via our brand new secure, monitored website, hosted by the Brightside Trust.
eMentoring provides students with:
• Practical support, guidance and friendly advice about their studies and university applications.
• The opportunity to find out more about university life and their future options
• Access to a range of fun and interactive online activities and articles to support their studies

Quotes from our mentees in 2013:
“I now have more of an insight into University life, as I didn't have that before. My e mentor has helped me with revision regarding my exams and the ways to approach different questions in my exams. Joseph also helped me with things like deciding which university is right for me and how I should go about choosing my university choices and subject choices for next year”
“Having someone close to your age to guide you through the process of applying to university was very helpful.”
“Because of the eMentoring scheme I have been able to improve the way in which I revise and have also been more motivated to revise and to aim for the higher grades.”
Our eMentoring scheme has been awarded the Approved Provider Standard accreditation for safe and effective practice in mentoring and befriending.
