Qualified as a General and Mental Health Nurse in 1992(RGN/RMN) My main areas of practice were in Acute General medicine and Medical Assessmnet units. In 2005 I worked for Manchester Primary Care Trust as a Case Manager/Community Matron for people with long-term conditions. My role was to support older adults at home and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
I have also qualified as a Social Worker and my main interests are social work leadership and management issues, Adult social care funding and multi-disciplinary working.
Worked in Higher Education since 2007.
