Loved and Lost
Voice is a self-advocacy group in Wrexham with whom we have been working together with fortwo years, in conjunction with Reach, Asist, Staffordshire. They have supported a number of peoplewith a learning disability and worked alongside an animation facilitator to develop an animatedfilm around loss, entitled ‘Loved and Lost’ This is a delightful short film that is very powerfuland illustrates well the impact of loss and the experiences of people with a learning disabilityexperiencing many losses, including the loss of a pet. The animation makes the film quite unique anddifferent, and as medium works well in this context. Voice have kindly given us permission to haveaccess to the film on our website to maximise the potential for its usage.
