Spanish Visitors to the School of Nursing and Midwifery
Professor Isabel Baeza Mondero & Professor Begona Cuenca de Prada from the San Rafael Nebrija University Madrid were at Keele University this week. They spent time meeting students and staff sharing the similarities and differences in nurse education and health care systems between Spain and UK. They visited and had meetings with the nursing staff at the paediatric unit University Hospital of North Staffordshire. They also had meetings with staff at the School of Health and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine and the Language Learning Unit. The future plan is to develop staff and student exchanges and possible joint teaching and research projects.
