- Wendy Morgan - Australia 2010
Wendy Morgan - Australia 2010
The opportunity to travel to Australia has enhanced my professional journey as a student nurse. I feel it has had a positive effect on my nursing skills and allows me to approach different cultures with more knowledge.
This experience developed me personally to become a more independent and determined individual. I found travelling a challenging experience, when considering a new country and no friends or family. However being welcomed into the country by new fiends is a very humbling experience.
Australia was a wonderful cultural and nursing experience. Travelling and experiencing Australia is something that will always be remembered. I feel it has helped prepare me for qualifying as a nurse, to become a more autonomous professional and developed me as a person. Overall my experiences in Australia have had a profound effect on the way I will approach things in my life.
