The KeeleCard: manage your finances
Keele has a great Smart Card system called the KeeleCard. It looks like a credit card but is in fact your Library and ID card.
All Keele students are issued with a ‘Keele Card’ which can be used, with pre-paid credit, to buy food and drink on campus. You will need to supply a passport-sized photo for use on your KeeleCard.
Managing your money with the KeeleCard
The KeeleCard’s financial services are its outstanding feature. The first of its kind in the UK, you can use it to manage your finances whilst studying at Keele. You can load funds to your Keele Card at the special service points around campus.
Where you can use the KeeleCard
The card can be used in the Sports Centre, Library, Students' Union, retail outlets and restaurants around campus. You can buy a range of services including meals and groceries.
Discounts with the KeeleCard
The KeeleCard entitles you to student discounts making eating out affordable. You will benefit from discounts and VAT exemption on selected food and drink items.
