What is a Pre Arrival Event?

Pre Arrival events are held before Welcome Week begins. They give an opportunity for students to meet each other, get to know their way round Keele University and take part in various events aimed at making the transition to university a smoother process.

  • Get on Up!  is our pre-arrival event for students living off campus or commuting to Keele. 'Get on up' will help your transition to university by providing an opportunity to meet other students, get to know your way round campus and find out more about everything that Keele has to offer. This one day event will take place on Wednesday 11 September from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. For more information and to apply online.

During this event accommodation at discounted rates may be available for students who require it.

  • forMat! is our pre-arrival event for over 21's. This event is a great opportunity to meet other students over 21, get to know the university and find out more about everything the university has to offer. This one day event will take place on Friday 13 September from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. For more information and to apply online.

During this event accommodation at discounted rates may be available for students who require it.

  • Moving on Up! is our pre-arrival event for students who will be coming to Keele with a complex disability. The weekend long event is a chance for you to become familiar with Keele University before the start of the academic year.
