Pioneers Reunion Weekend

The Alumni Office was delighted to welcome alumni, friends and staff of Keele University to the Pioneers Reunion of 2008 last weekend.

Around 140 alumni of the late 1960s and their friends and partners visited Keele and enjoyed a range of activities ? the most popular being "catching up with old pals".

Many alumni attended a Question and Answer Forum with a panel of alumni, academic staff and the KUSU President, while guests also enjoyed a revue by alumni thespians and musicians called "Forty Years On", about being alumni, about Keele and about Higher Education today.

Professor Chris Phillipson, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Nadeem Patel, current KUSU President, and Malcolm Clarke, KUSU President 1967-1968 spoke at the Reunion Dinner.
