STUDIOS - Audiovisual composition - Computer Video Art has become integral part of research and teaching at Keele University Music Technology. Students learn the principles of digital video editing and engage with the production of short audiovisual compositions. In the final year audiovisual work can be part of students’ creative project portfolios.

• Projection space, in surround sound, for public presentation of students’ work
• Video editing on Adobe Premiere and Apple Final Cut
• Synthesis of still pictures and animations in ArtMatic
• Gradual engagement with audio-video work from first year

• Training and tutoring is provided
• Large Plasma displays available in studio areas
• Possibility of soundtracks in 5.1 surround sound
• HD digital camcorders available to students
