WELCOME WEEK FIRST MEETING AND ACTIVITIES – These activities are compulsory. The Welcome meeting is an opportunity to meet your new course mates, meet members of staff, and ask questions. The date, time and venue of this meeting is in the welcome letter we sent to you.

FIRST LECTURE – you must attend your first sessions.  The timetable can be found on the KLE, the Clock House noticeboards, or in the Music Office.

CHOICE of MODULES FOR REGISTRATION - depending on what course you are taking, you may need to choose between different options available to make up your study path. More details will be sent to you and discussed during welcome week.

INSTRUMENTAL LESSONS - The Office will send you an online Google form about Instrumental Lessons. It must be completed so that we can arrange a day-time for your first instrumental lesson.

CODE of PRACTICE - you need to be familiar with everything covered in our code of practice. Read more ...

Don't know what to do next? Talk to the Office! Our administrators are here to help you. Get in touch with them and they will always do their best to answer your queries or put you in touch with someone who can. The Music/Music Technology Office is located on the ground floor of the Clockhouse building (see map), Room G13 (signposted in the Clockhouse).

Office opening times are Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.00pm. The office is sometimes closed for lunch and meetings which will be posted on the door.  The Office can be contacted on 01782 733295 or 733294 and ext. 33295/4 from any internal telephone. Electronic Key Fobs

These allow all our Music and Music Tech students 24-hr access to the building and studios.The electronic key fob allows you to enter the main door of the Clockhouse outside office hours. Furthermore, it gives you access to the studio areas and practice rooms for which you are authorised (these are the areas you need to use for your Music or Music Technology coursework). In order to obtain a keyfob you need to:

Read and agree to the Studios and Facilities Code of Practice. This document is very important because it tells you what is expected as conditions of use of our facilities.

Fill in and sign the keyfob agreement form available in the office, and bring a £5 refundable deposit
