Explore our Moot Court Room and learn about Law at University
Monday 18th March
You and your Key Stage 5 students are invited to join us for the official opening of Keele Law School’s new Moot Court Room.
The day will comprise of a number of activities, including: group tours of the Moot Court room and Law School, the opportunity to watch a student mooting competition live in action and an optional public lecture taking place at the end of the day, delivered by Keele graduate, Fiona Woolf CBE.
The establishment of a high-specification Moot Court Room has been designed to support our students’ skills development and enhance graduate attributes, and the superb new multi-use learning environment provides a site for further interactions between students and the legal profession.
This official opening provides the perfect opportunity to see this fantastic new space live in action, which Keele Law School will be offering to colleges and schools as a learning resource for lessons, available to book in a choice of layouts.

3.00 - 3.25pm Arrival at Chancellor's Building reception
3.30 - 4.30pm Group tours commence: Explore the Moot Court Room
Meet the Law School Staff and Alumni: “Learning about Law at University…and beyond”

4.30 - 5.15pm The Official Opening of the Moot Court and live Speed Mooting Competition
Moot Court to be officially opened by Fiona Woolf CBE (President of the Law Society:
2006-07, Sheriff of the City of London: 2010-11). Then watch Keele students take
part in a Speed Mooting competition via live video link from the Moot Court Room.
5.30 - 6.15pm Further opportunities to meet Keele staff, students and alumni / Refreshments
6.30 - 7.15pm Fiona Woolf CBE:
