Description for 2023/24

This compulsory module provides the necessary background and computational skills required to apply numerical techniques to solve problems in physics. The module builds upon the programming skills acquired during Level 4 and uses more advanced programming techniques and numerical libraries.

The module aims to provide students with the essential theoretical background and computational skills to apply numerical techniques to solve problems in physics. The module builds upon the programming skills acquired during PHY-10028 (Scientific Programming) to use more advanced programming techniques and numerical libraries.
